5/8 UNC Paraboloid Dome Nuts Stainless Steel
It took a while to get the shape of the dome perfectly right, but we managed it in the end and rapidly manufactured these dome nuts in stainless steel.
They don't have a typical dome shape - it's more parabolic than rounded, so a much wider forming tool had to be made and shaped to accommodate this.
Pretty good job I think.
Our customer will no doubt be satisfied with the outcome.
