12 yes TWELVE slots on a nut so small...
Yes, we machined them with accuracy, ease and speed.
These type of slotted nuts tend to go on parts where a degree of fine rotation is needed in order to line up the slots with the pin to retain it.
We made a new tooling rig just for this job - and so far they have been reordered a number of times already. Suffice it to say, our customer is very happy!
